Say Hello for Me (2007)
Say Hello for Me is a Japanese movie directed by Yuichiro Hirakawa and based on a novel by Takuji Ichikawa. It was released by Toho in Japan on June 2, 2007.
In the movie, a young man named Satoshi (Takayuki Yamada) finds an outlet for his love of marine vegetation by running his own aquatic plant store. It’s not a terribly profitable business, but he’s determined to keep it afloat so he can keep a promise he made to two of his friends Yuji (Takashi Tsukamoto) and Karin (Masami Nagasawa) years earlier.
One day Karin walks into his store looking for employment. Having been so long, it takes a while for him to recognize her, but he’s ecstatic to have her around since he’d always had a crush on her in the past. Unfortunately, however, she has some unsettling news about their friend Yuji.
