A group of four people live together in a small 2-bedroom apartment in Tokyo, though they’re not romantically linked and don’t know much about each other’s lives in general. Naoki is a film company employee, Mirai is an illustrator, Kotomi is an aspiring actress who takes on part-time work on her free days, and Ryosuke is a university student.
One day a male prostitute named Satoru enters the picture, and because the roommates lead such insular lives, it takes a full day for them to realize that he’s an uninvited guest and isn’t actually connected to any of them. Meanwhile, a series of violent assaults and murders begin occurring in the area and a ripple of uncertainty begins to spread, disrupting each of their daily routines.
