Chasing My Girl (2009)

Chasing My Girl is a Japanese movie directed by Yuichi Fukuda. It was released by Nikkatsu in Japan on November 7, 2009.

The film is a comedy set in Ibaraki Prefecture on the coast of Ōarai. When Sugimoto (Takayuki Yamada) receives a letter from the girl of his dreams, Eriko (Erika Toda), inviting him to a summer house by the sea, he make the trip only to find a group of 6 other men who received the same invitation.

Each of these oddball characters is convinced that they’re the only man for Eriko, leading to a bizarre night of obsessive posturing, competition, and accusations.
