SPEC: Heaven (2012)
SPEC: Heaven is a Japanese movie directed by Yukihiko Tsutsumi. It was released by Toho in Japan on April 7, 2012.
The film is a continuation of the 2010 TBS detective drama “Keizoku 2: SPEC”, which was the successor to the 1999 drama “Keizoku”.
In the drama, Erika Toda plays Saya Toma, a mentally gifted police detective with an innate ability to glean information from any social situation. Her partner, Takeru Sebumi, is played by Ryo Kase. Together they head up “Mishou”, a special division for solving especially difficult cases that can’t be solved using typical police investigative procedures.
In the film, their case involves a large number of mummified corpses which have arrived in Japan on a sea cruiser. Eventually, this strange incident develops into a major situation.
