Rain Fall (2009)
Rain Fall is a Japanese movie directed by Max Mannix and based on a novel by American author Barry Eisler. It was released by Sony Pictures in Japan on April 25, 2009.
Kippei Shiina stars as John Rain, a half-Japanese assassin who is set up by CIA Chief Officer William Holtzer, the mastermind behind a conspiracy to manipulate the Japanese government.
Set in Tokyo, the film depicts Rain’s evasion from Holtzer’s men as he protects the daughter of one of own assassination victims (Kyoko Hasegawa), as she holds the key to exposing the conspiracy.
