After a life and death struggle against Ninomae which leaves investigators Sebumi and Toma severely injured, the pair must return to duty in order to unravel several mysteries including the third secret of Fátima and the possible fate of humanity.

SPEC is based in the same world that was originally created for the TBS police procedural drama “Keizoku” (Unsolved Cases) in 1999. It revolves around a team of investigators tasked with tracking down criminals with special powers. “Close” is said to be the final installment of the SPEC series. It was originally planned as a single release, but the scale proved to be too big for one movie.
