The film stars Yo Oizumi as a private investigator who runs his business out of a bar in Susukino, the red light district in Sapporo. One day, he receives a phone call in the bar from a woman referring to herself as “Kyoko Kondo”. His instincts tell him her job will be dangerous, and his instincts are usually right. The next day starts badly as he finds himself tied up, buried in snow, and almost killed.
When “Kyoko Kondo” next contacts the P.I., he reluctantly takes her call—if only to plan his revenge. Along with his partner, Takada (Ryuhei Matsuda), he winds up in the middle of an investigation involving four murders, a beautiful woman named Saori (Koyuki), and a prominent business man (Toshiyuki Nishida).
Yo Oizumi (37) and Ryuhei Matsuda (27) are set to co-star for the first time in an upcoming film called Tantei wa Bar ni Iru, directed by Hajime Hashimoto. The film is based on the Naomi Azuma’s...5 years ago
