Sayaka Akimoto is a Japanese singer, actress, and member of the idol group AKB48, Team K.

Personal

Akimoto's mother is of Filipino descent.
Akimoto is known for being naturally athletic. During a lie detector test segment on the August 5, 2010 episode of the variety show AKBingo! she revealed that she’s genetically predisposed to develop muscle easily.
She holds a 2nd degree black belt in Aikido, a defensive martial art which she has been practicing since 5th grade.
