Plot

A girl named Mitsuko gets abandoned by her father after her mother dies. Her aunt takes her in and she gets a part-time job at a massage parlor. She soon discovers her father has moved in with a nearby Japanese-Argentine woman named Yuri. Mitsuko visits the woman, fully expecting her to be a vindictive hag. Instead she quickly finds out the woman is indeed quirky, but extremely friendly. Eventually, Mitsuko’s interactions with this woman help her heal her relationship with her father.
