The official website for Takahiro Miki’s “Kuchibiru ni Uta o” (out Feb 28, 2015) has been updated with a new 97-second trailer.

Based on a novel by Eiichi Nakata (a pen name of Otsuichi) which itself was inspired by Angela Aki’s song “Tegami ~Haikei Juugo no Kimi e~”, the movie stars Yui Aragaki as a genius pianist and part-time teacher named Yuri Kashiwagi. When her former colleague Haruko goes on maternity leave, Kashiwagi temporarily takes over her position as choral advisor at a middle school in Nagasaki Prefecture. When Kashiwagi arrives, her first assignment for her students is to write a letter to themselves 15 years in the future. The letters they write eventually reveal their secret worries and concerns about reaching adulthood.
