Plot

A man named Toru Nagamine who spent his childhood with his father in Toyama’s Tateyama mountain range. However, when he got a little older, he rebelled against his strict upbringing and decided to move away on his own. Toru eventually becomes involved in the financial world, and in stark contrast to his former life, he spends his days creating wealth from wealth as a trader.

When Toru discovers his father has died after finding his obituary, he returns home for the wake. Upon reconnecting with his mountain roots and meeting a young woman named Ai Takazawa, he decides to take over his father’s mountain cabin. Toru initially finds it difficult to adjust to his new surroundings after years of living in the city, but the peaceful persistence of mountain life gradually begins to heal his heart.

One day, Toru meets Goro-san, a mountain climber and friend of Toru’s father who takes him under his wing.
