The Chasing World 2 (2010)

The Chasing World 2 is a Japanese movie written and directed by Issei Shibata and based on a novel by Yusuke Yamada. It is the sequel to Shibata’s 2008 film, The Chasing World and was released by Phantom Film in Japan on June 5, 2010.

Plot

After surviving the original film’s “death game”, in which everyone with the family name Sato were hunted down and killed, Tsubasa Sato was thrust into yet another parallel world in the midst of a fierce struggle.

Once again, a mysterious dictator in this version of Japan has decreed that anyone with the surname Sato is to be punished severely. Tsubasa joins a group of armed rebels which includes an alternate version of his little sister. However, they’re soon forced to run for their lives.
