It All Began When I Met You is a Japanese movie directed by Katsuhide Motoki. Plot

Six interconnected episodes depict the romantic interludes of 10 people at Tokyo Station right before Christmas.

In “Eve no Koibito”, successful web design company president Kazuki thinks women are only interested in him for his money until he meets a young aspiring actress named Reiko at a restaurant.

In “Enkyori Renai”, a Tokyo-based fashion designer named Setsuna attempts to meet up with her long-distance lover Takumi from Sendai in time for Christmas in spite of their hectic schedules.

In “Christmas Present”, an orphanage worker named Chiharu waits for a new adoptive parent to pick up 7-year-old Akane.

In “Nibun no Ichi Seijin Shiki”, a train driver named Masayuki has yet to tell his son he only has 6 months to live.

In “Christmas no Yuuki”, a part-time worker at a cake shop tries to work up the courage to ask out her coworker.

And finally, in “Okurete Kita Present”, pastry shop owner Kotoko remembers a 49-year-old promise which has yet to be fulfilled.
