    Plot: During Japan's economic bubble of the early 1990s, various scientific experiments were conducted to find the key to controlling human evolution. One method was to force expectant mothers to endure various extreme stresses during their pregnancies in order to encourage mutations in their babies that would push the limits of human ability. Another method was to give babies the special abilities of various animals and insects through genetic engineering.The subjects of these experiments are now on the verge of becoming 20-years old. Subaru was given superhuman vision, hearing, and muscle strength. However, as a drawback of the powers, he and his fellow test subjects live with the risk of complete mind collapse, called "Hatan" (failure). Because of this, they're forced to use their powers to help a powerful politician named Kouichiro Watase who holds the key to reversing "Hatan". Meanwhile, a super-powered assassination squad called "Ageha" led by a wheelchair-bound young man named Manabu suddenly arrives on the scene to take revenge on Watase. In spite of both groups facing the same fate, they wind up fighting each other.Soon, they discover the key to their creation is also the key to human evolution. Will they use it to create or destroy?

In spite of this, student Nagisa Shiota keeps track of any perceived weaknesses as he and his classmates try to come up with new ways to kill him.

After being attacked by his own infected girlfriend, Hideo escapes with a shotgun he happens to own and goes on the run with a high school girl named Hiromi he meets along the way.While on the run, Hiromi is bitten by a ZQN-infected baby, but since the baby has no teeth, Hiromi is only partially infected herself and doesn't lose control of her mind.
