  Plot: Satoshi Ando is University psychology professor who raised his daughter Kana on his own since the death of his wife many years earlier. One day, Kana dies by falling from the balcony of her high school and it remains unclear whether the incident was an accident or suicide. Ando is overcome with despair and feels guilty that, as a psychology expert, he didn't recognize any warning signs. Wanting to believe his daughter's death was an accident, he contacts one of Kana's high school friends to find out more.Yoshimoto will play a girl named Saki who sits atop the school's social ladder and is on the verge of breaking into the entertainment industry. Both beautiful and intelligent, Saki is able to manipulate adults and treats her friends like underlings. When Ando discovers Saki was involved in his daughter's death, he becomes determined to make sure she doesn't get away with it as a battle of wits ensues.

  Plot: During Japan's economic bubble of the early 1990s, various scientific experiments were conducted to find the key to controlling human evolution. One method was to force expectant mothers to endure various extreme stresses during their pregnancies in order to encourage mutations in their babies that would push the limits of human ability. Another method was to give babies the special abilities of various animals and insects through genetic engineering.The subjects of these experiments are now on the verge of becoming 20-years old. Subaru was given superhuman vision, hearing, and muscle strength. However, as a drawback of the powers, he and his fellow test subjects live with the risk of complete mind collapse, called "Hatan" (failure). Because of this, they're forced to use their powers to help a powerful politician named Kouichiro Watase who holds the key to reversing "Hatan". Meanwhile, a super-powered assassination squad called "Ageha" led by a wheelchair-bound young man named Manabu suddenly arrives on the scene to take revenge on Watase. In spite of both groups facing the same fate, they wind up fighting each other.Soon, they discover the key to their creation is also the key to human evolution. Will they use it to create or destroy?

  Plot: A man named Gates heads a mysterious group called "Shinbunshi" who don newspaper masks and post internet videos informing the public of their crimes of justice against people they deem guilty of things not punishable by law. Meanwhile, Erika Yoshino, an elite inspector from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's cyber crime division attempts to track down the members of Shinbunshi and put a stop to their crimes. However, the group gradually begins to win over the support of the public with their videos.

  ST MPD Scientific Investigation Squad: The Movie (2015)

  Plot: A genius hacker named Tooru Kaburaki orchestrates a prison break and the discovery of a charred corpse leads to Akagi being arrested as the prime suspect. ST is officially disbanded, but when Akagi escapes from jail, police are ordered to track down all of the former ST members. Yurine believes in his heart that Akagi is innocent and they soon begin investigating a new form of computer virus called "Fugin" which becomes a key to the case. Eventually they track down a mysterious woman named Naomi Doujima who once worked with Kaburaki and has vital information about the virus.

  Plot: Suzuki quits his job as a schoolteacher in order to infiltrate an underworld organization and take revenge on the person who murdered his girlfriend. Kujira (lit. "whale") is a contract killer who specializes in observing his targets, gaining insight into their state of mind and eventually manipulating them into committing suicide. Semi (lit. "cicada") is a fellow hitman who takes a more direct approach, utilizing his expertise with knives.

  Plot: Yuto's father was Shigeru Hisamatsu, a young lieutenant with the Gosei-kai affiliated Ogoshi gang. Although Hisamatsu is a peaceful young man who's grown up to have a very different life than his late father, a certain incident leads him to vow revenge against Gosei-kai.

  Tenku no Hachi (2015)

  Plot: Terrorists hijack a massive state of the art Japan Self-Defense Force helicopter called "Big B" and remotely direct it to hover menacingly over a nuclear power plant. At the same time, a fax is sent out to the power company, government, and news media stating the helicopter has about 10 hours of fuel left and will be allowed to crash unless all nuclear power facilities currently under construction are taken offline. To make the situation even more dire, a child is left behind in the helicopter as added insurance.

  Plot: A housewife named Rika Umezawa gets a part-time job at a bank in which she's responsible for traveling to customers' homes and collecting their deposits. In spite of receiving positive evaluations from her boss and customers alike for her courteousness and work ethic, she begins to feel a void in her life. Her husband seems to be losing interest in her and the two of them have been gradually drifting apart.Soon, she engages in an affair with a university student named Kota and begins embezzling money from the bank customers' deposits she's responsible for collecting. As she spends more time with Kota and away from her husband, her theft escalates rapidly in order to fund her trysts as well as her newfound addiction to shopping.
