History
At the age of 7, Furukawa moved to Canada. After living there for 8 years, he moved to New York City on his own. In 2009, he transferred from Keio Academy of New York to Keio University in Japan, where he was awarded the title of “Mr. Campus”.
In 2010, Furukawa won the Special Jury Prize of a rookie talent audition held by Horipro and Non-no magazine called “Campus★H50 with Men’s Non-no”.
