Megumi Okina (Actress)

Megumi Okina is a Japanese singer and actress from Hiroshima Prefecture. She made her acting debut in 1992, appearing in Fuji TV’s drama special “Patio”. In August of 1995, she released her first album, “Kono Kanashimi wo Norikoete”.

Okina was formerly represented by Parfit, but chose not to renew her contract in 2007. She denied widespread rumors that her retirement was imminent, an affirmation backed up by her appearance in Keralino Sandorovich’s 2009 film Crime or Punishment?!?
