Shota Sometani (Actor)
Shota Sometani is a Japanese actor from Tokyo. He got his start in the film industry at the age of 9, playing a young boy being eaten by zombies in Naoyuki Tomomatsu's 2001 satirical zombie film Stacy.
In 2011, he won Marcello Mastroianni Award (best newcomer) at the 68th Venice International Film Festival for his performance in Sion Sono's Himizu. His co-star in the film, Fumi Nikaido, also won the award.
