History

Okada was first scouted as an 8th-grader while hanging out in Harajuku with some friends. He initially declined the offer because he was busy with school club activities at the time (specifically basketball). However, his sister kept the talent scout’s card and he eventually signed with Stardust Promotion at the age of 16. The high school he attended at the time didn’t have any sort of entertainment industry-focused activities, so he transferred in his 2nd year.

In 2006, Okada appeared in a television commercial for Nippon Engineering College and later made his acting debut in the BS-TBS TV drama Tokyo Girl. In 2007, he made his film debut in Nobuhiro Yamashita’s A Gentle Breeze in the Village, co-starring opposite Kaho.
